Inside view of dairy production, capped by talking cows.

Ken Smith sez: This Jerry Fairbanks production shows us the story of milk -- "truly a wonderful gift of nature" -- from the cow to your doorstep. We learn the dairy industry today is "scientific," which helps bring out the "triple goodness" in milk. Nicely produced and photographed. Best sequence: The health inspector sniffing milk truck tanks.
08:05:23 - 08:06:07 -- milk truck, milkman delivers milk, excellent milkman hands milk to woman at side door of house (great shot).
08:06:57:20 -- Excellent malt shop / ice cream shop, with excellent color jukebox shot
08:08:38 -- Talking cow with animated lips says "And as long as you keep drinkin' it, I'll keep givin' it!!"
¥ 20:08:17- 20:08:29
Nice shot of beautiful 1940s milk delivery truck as it makes its way down a residential street (California or Florida)Ñthere's a cut to a closeup of the smiling, uniformed milk man through his window and another cut to him as he walks towards a single-story home with his milk delivery.
worth noting: some nice but short shots of a dairy farm.
¥ 20:22:41- 20:34:50
Series of shots of refrigerated milk truck making various deliveriesÑfirst to the Judson Tanner grocery store, next to a restaurant (it has a generic sign that says "Restaurant"), and finally to a large hotel. Nice images of what looks like an upscale retirement town.

I checked - it's still around. Headquarters are in Wisconsin. I haven't seen a Foremost label on a dairy product in maybe 40 years. They do flash other brand names so I guess Foremost supplies other dairies including Borden.
Goes through all the steps of modern milk processing. No real details are explained. When this was made, home delivery was still done (but they don't show a milk chute). Some appetizing shots of ice cream production.
Shows them sanitizing Bossie's teats before the milking machine is attached.

I scream.. you scream..
Gee, I guess I was overhyped over the fact that there were talking cows in the movie..
Nevertheless this is an good overview of how milk is made and delivered right to your door! The production of items, mostly milk and ice cream is featured. Although I liked the other Dairy films on here, specifically Food For America and This Is The Dairy Industry better, this has it's charms, particularily the "Boss behind the desk" beginning (I love those) and the great scenes where cows all march to the barn, unassisted, that just can't WAIT to be milked!
